What is E2E?
E2E is a

skills in the working environment skills, personal development, speaking and
listening, interview techniques, social skills, team work and other learning

also offers a L2 Health and Safety and First Aid qualification which is paid for
by Bridges to Work. Other courses are available at the Berwick Community Centre

JOSH
E2E helped me find a job. Through E2E, I got gained my Health
& Safety
qualification. In the near future I will also
get an opportunity to gain a qualification in food hygiene; this will benefit me
because my career path involves working with food. I have enjoyed
everything at
E2E. It is worthwhile going, however E2E would benefit if there were more course
choices available and is the facilities were to a higher standard.
SIMON
E2E
helped me plan my future and inspires people to work, I
got a placement in the building trade, achieved L2 Health & Safety training and
the course offers up L2 numeracy and literacy. I enjoy meeting new people and
working on group projects. E2E is worthwhile, gave me an income, and stopped
being lazy. “There is nothing on this course I didn’t enjoy, it’s sound.”
GLORIA
E2E is an opportunity to
develop personal skills and learn to be more economically sufficient. E2E helped
me decide what I want to do later on in life, to get to where I want to be next
year. I did L1 Book-Keeping and furthered this by doing an ECDL course. The
thing I like most about E2E is meeting new people; I would recommend E2E to
others as I feel it’s very worthwhile. I feel E2E could be improved by keeping
control over the EMA payments, as the payments are often late or didn’t come at
all. “E2E was really helpful.”
RIANNE
E2E is a programme that
helps develop your skills, outlook on work and also gaining qualifications
needed in job situations. I achieved both L2 Health & Safety and also passed a
First Aid training course, it also helped me find a work placement in the area
of work I wished to pursue in later life. I enjoy all aspects of work within
E2E, especially when an active approach is taken. E2E would benefit from more
activities outside the classroom. “It has been an amazing experience.”
ROBERT
E2E helps to get you a job
and qualifications needed in job
situations, E2E got me a work placement,
put me through a Health & Safety training
course, and in the future I will be doing both a Food Hygiene and a First Aid
course. I enjoy my time at E2E I have made new friends and I like using the
computers to find out information. I think E2E could
be improved by having better facilities.
CONNOR
E2E
is a social club it gives you a small income. I have gained
qualifications in both First Aid and Health & Safety. I have enjoyed my time at
E2E especially meeting new people. I didn’t enjoy losing my EMA payment due to
my behaviour. E2E could be improved by giving out a larger amount of EMA, and
also better access to higher qualifications.
ERYN
E2E
is a place of learning; through the E2E course I have achieved qualifications in
both Health & Safety and First Aid. They have also got me a work placement at
the Birds Of Prey Centre. I enjoy seeing my friends’ everyday at E2E and having
a laugh, the thing I don’t like about E2E is the lecturing from the tutor as it
can become very
boring. It could be improved by having more day trips.
CHRIS
E2E encouraged me to get
out of the house and it keeps me motivated. E2E has improved both my social and
numeracy skills. I have also gained a qualification in Health & Safety. I have
enjoyed my time at E2E. I think the course is very worthwhile as you get to meet
new people and also to get useful qualifications needed in job situations.
KATIE
E2E is a learning
environment, you gain skills which help you to get a job or promote you into
further education. I have gained a qualification in Health & Safety and also in
Food Hygiene. I have enjoyed meeting new people and partaking in the group
activities. It could be improved by having better facilities and more out of
class activities. It’s worthwhile because it boosts your confidence and self
esteem and you can gain qualifications whilst there.
J.J.
Since I joined E2E it has
helped me to gain better qualifications and a week end job which I got through
my placement. I am moving on soon to a new course being run in Scotland which
will give me full time work experience which gives me a wage.
